A US/Spanish start-up is testing an unmanned aircraft powered by solar cells that generate the energy necessary for perpetual flight.

Skydweller Aero has a wing span of 72 meters and 270 square meters of solar panels that can lift it to a height of 14 thousand meters. The plane, which is equipped with 4G/5G and satellite communication systems, night vision and radar, can be used for land and sea surveillance and in emergency situations.
