Bricks from old clothes.

A French start-up has found a way to transform old clothes into decorative and sustainable bricks that provide thermal and acoustic insulation.

It takes the material from two or three old T-shirts in cotton, polyester, elastane or PVC to produce one brick. An ecological glue is used to bind the materials, and the resulting mixture is then pressed into a mold and left to dry for two weeks. The bricks can be used as room dividers, as walls or to create furnishing accessories and furniture.
